The 443.15 repeater consists of a Motorola Quantro, and runs 100 watts into the duplexer, to a 9db omni directional antenna at the 200' level on the tower.  Our UHF system has excellent coverage in the area, although not quite as good as the VHF system.

The new UHF repeater is dual-mode analog and P25 (NAC293) and is linked using P25NX.  To use the repeater linking, you will need to program your radio to use P25 talkgroups.  If you don't program in talkgroups, you can still use P25, but it will not link outside of our repeater.  See the P25NX web site for more information. Scroll down to find the talkgroup list.

UHF P25 talkgroups:

NONE - local only

10100 - Worldwide

10200 - North America*

10201 - NA Tac1

10202 NA Tac2

10203 NA Tac3

10300 - Europe

10400 - Pacific

*Default talkgroup.  This is the one that is always linked unless you override that with a PTT on one of the other talkgroups.
